Frequently Asked Questions

Do you require a deposit and what type of payments do you take?

Once you place an order with our company, we will send you a contract.  You will return the signed contract to us with a deposit of approximately 50% of your total rental.  We accept payments in the form of a check, cash, money order, VISA, or MC.

When will you set up and take down my tent?

Your tent is set up 1-2 days prior to your party.  Weddings are normally up by Wednesdays to allow for extra decorating time.  Tents then come down a day or 2 after your function.  

What are your business hours?

Our main office is normally open Mon-Fri from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM – Noon.  It is best to call, and you can many times find us in the office at all hours during the busy summer season!  Our tent installation crews work 7 days a week during the summer season; starting at sun-up, and ending at sun-down.  If you have a tent emergency, you can reach someone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  There are emergency numbers listed on the answering machine if you call after normal business hours.

What surfaces can a tent be set-up on?

Usually a tent is set up on grass or blacktop.  It’s important that we know what surface it will be set up on so that we have the appropriate staking tools. 

Is it possible for us to put up our own tent to save money?

Absolutely!  That is called a “Customer Pick Up”, and is very common.  You can pick up the tent, tables,  or chairs at our Batavia Shop/Office on the Wed, Thu or Fri before your party.  You then return it on the Monday or Tuesday after your party.

Is it possible to put an awning over vinyl siding?

Yes, it is possible to install an awning on just about any building surface.

Is your company insured?

We carry the maximum required liability insurance , along with worker’s compensation insurance.

Is it possible to put a tent up on the same day for a surprise party?

Yes, we have coordinated  many surprise birthday party’s, along with many surprise engagement and anniversary parties!

Do I need to be home when you come to put up my tent?

No, probably 80% of  the time there is nobody home when we come to install the tent.  We just ask that you very clearly mark out the location of where you want us to set up the tent. 

Do you set up tents outside of the Genesee County area?

Yes, in fact we have traveled to Pennsylvania, Ohio, Deleware,  and Vermont installing tents for large functions.  View our service area.
